If I work with an Equinox consultant or coach to organize my office, will they make me throw everything out? No! You are the one who determines what stays and what goes. We will simply ask questions to help you look at things from various perspectives and you make all final decisions without being coerced by us. And, having said that, our years of experience in this process have shown us that most clients find an easy rhythm as we work and often get into what we call, "pitch mode" all on their own. They also report taking the process into their homes and continuing to purge old and organize in a way that better serves them. How does the individual consulting and coaching work? What's the process? Relative to an organizational issue, with each appointment, we'll make sure there is a noticeable difference in the way your office looks and feels with each appointment. We start the process by discussing what works and what doesn't work about your current system. Then, together we will design a system to help you manage the flow of work and the most pleasurable space for you to work from. The next step is to roll up our sleeves and clear out anything that is no longer needed, while organizing what stays. You'll have a noticeable difference after our first appointment and you may even be complete with the process by then. Additionally, while we are working, we will be discussing other areas of your personal effectiveness and productivity and note corrections for those elements as well.
